My essential pocket kit consists of a wallet, phone, car keys, and my 3DS running in sleep mode. Gotta get those virtually nonexistent StreetPass hits.

I am pretty boring - wallet, keys.... and asthma inhaler when I remember. I don't even have a cell phone or anything.

Wallet, keys, phone, glasses cloth. If you count worn items, my glasses and engagement ring, but I don't think those count for this list. I actively dislike having much on me on a day to day basis.

Right I have been meaning to post for a few days now that I have taken several pictures so here goes.

I believe in layers when it comes to my EDC, theres lots of overlap and redundancy as there are times where I may not have one of the three layers that I generally have.

Layer 1 is what I have in my pockets on a daily basis, it the picture below you will see wallet, sunglasses, reading glasses, notepad, pens, stylus, knives, USB drives, and my Cellphone. Missing are my keys but generally they are in my vest pocket.



Layer 2 is what is in my jacket, coat or vest. Generally I wear a vest most days, I have several from 5.11, in different colors and theres enough pockets and such for me to carry a lot more than what is in the picture below. Also is a picture of a 5.11 vest so you can see the layout.





And finally is my EDC bag that I carry all sorts of goodies in as well as whatever technology I need for the day, usually an Ipad or other tablet or a laptop. The bag I have been carrying lately is from LAPG and it has lots of pouches for all my crap, my EDC rotation changes often and I have a number of other bags and backpacks that go in and out of rotation.

And next is the contents, I dont have time right now to list what all is in there but when I cleaned out the bag to take this picture I found that I was missing a number of items which I have since added to the bag. These items include duct tape, zip ties, spare batteries, more paracord, another biner and a small repair kit.

Yes, I think I am a madman at times but I would rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
