help me figure out a movie that i saw 20 yrs ago

[Secret Agent Man]

I remember a glimpse of a movie that I saw when I was under ten years old and I'm trying to figure out what its called.

Here is what I remember...

It reminds me of a bill and ted rip off of a sort.
Two guys with long hair and wearing suspenders meet some people who are from a different world. The people traveled via a round object that would spin.
The movie ends with the people going back to their world. When the "ship" opens, they hold a boot up into the sky. I think the boot was glittery and then everyone started dancing.

I'm reaching far back into my childhood memory.

Well Secret Agent Man I put in about 20 minutes or so of google searching in and I can't seem to find anything.

Do you remember any other parts of the movie that might work well as search strings?
