Thanks for keeping things fun Checkm8! How did you get your gaming name: While recovering from an injury in 2008, I played a lot of FIFA online with some random english guy. He constantly called me m8. So, I thought Checkm8 was a clever gamer tag. It hasn't changed since.
Favorite game/server(s): Will be and always will be the ocho (TV8). Currently it's been TV6 since our Warpath server has died down considerably.
Favorite class/weapon: My favorite weapon is my mouth. It likes to anger people more than any silly weapon. My favorite class is demo and spy, equally. They are two completely different but fun classes to play in TF2. For L4D2, I like my machete... yeah boi!
When did you first play at the Ville? I believe a few months before I joined the forums. Back in '09 or so. I didn't join the forums right away. I played warpath a lot before i decided to sign up.
What is something about you that might surprise everyone? I am funnier in person. I know this personality cracks you up but wait till you see this face.
Favorite Food: Bacon
Favorite Sports Team: I don't dedicate myself to any sports team. I watch college football because I like to watch kids try and make it big and I like watching them hit each other.
Favorite Band: The Hives but I have an eclectic ear.. I like a little bit of everything.
Favorite TV Show: Futurama
Favorite Fictional Holiday Character: Robot Santa "I'll be back. Back when you least expect it: Next Xmas! Ho, ho, ho!"
If you could invent one thing, right now... what would it be? I would invent Fancy Pants Underbritches. They are underpants that help that office worker slip those unholy gases through w/o detection by co-workers. Be warned, they are for air passage only.... any solids would void their warranty.
Shout-outs: Thanks mainly to the L4D2 crew who are still active. I am pretty sure.. it's those few who voted for me since I play that game more than TF2 each evening. Also, word to the current TV6 crew for keeping the server alive and fun for all!
