I love peanut butter on toast (as well as bagels and English muffins), but I must admit I'm a sucker for good old butter and cinnamon-sugar as well.
Of late we've regularly been baking baguettes for dinner, which aren't toast really, but are close enough to mention. We like chopping them in half and slathering them with brie.

actually sounds quite good if i am honest...wish we had bovril in the states
