Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
I spent most of my money on Summer Cooler Keys - probably $50 or so. I got a Compatriot out of the deal, so it was all worth while.
A bit on cards, too.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
Final damage:
Toki Tori 2+
Surgeon Simulator 2013
NiGHTS Into Dreams
The only one out of those that I wasn't already planning to get prior to the sale was Surgeon Simulator. I managed to keep it under $20 and still finished the badge, so I'm feeling pretty good.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
I spent about $100. It would have been way easier to spend more but I held off on summer crates and mostly stuck to games under $5.... mostly.
Final Fantasy 7
Torchlight 2
Fallout 2
Fallout New Vegas
BInding of Isaac
Chivalry
Chtulhu saves the World
Heroes of Might and Magic 5
Puzzle Quest 2
Rogue Legacy
Civ 5 - Gods and Kings
Star Wars KotOR 2
System Shock 2
Unreal Tournament 2004
The Witcher 2
Razor 2
A few other odds and ends or DLC. Pretty happy with everything although a few of the ones I got are pretty dated.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
My wallet was victimized with the following:
Fez
Tomb Raider (Which I've already completed - fantastic game) + a couple of the map DLCs
Age of Empires 2 HD
A Sims 3 expansion pack
Serious Sam 3 DLC
BIT.TRIP....RUNNER 2 DLC (Which came out at the start of the sale).
Go me!

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
I did rather well. Only picked up four games over the course of the sale.
Bioshock Infinite (without any DLC content): $30
Toki Tori 2+: $9
Organ Trail: $3
Surgeon Simulator 2013: $6
So about $48 on games.
With that said though, there was also $25 worth of wallet purchases over the course of the sale period. About $15 of that probably went into summer keys while another $10 was used to get copious amounts of trading cards (and one specific profile background that I wasn't lucky enough to craft). I maxed out the Summer getaway badge and picked up plenty of other tier-one badges for other games in the meantime.
For those curious about actual monetary damages to their wallet, you can view all transaction history on Steam by choosing File>Settings, then click on the "view account history" button under the "Account" tab. Following that is a "Store Transactions" tab which you can view all your purchases through Steam. The sale started on the 11th, so any purchases since then and earlier this afternoon were during the sale period.
Also, I recommend that anyone who still has them, hang on to any extra summer getaway cards you might have lying around. I predict that now that they're out of circulation, they'll go up in value when the supply starts dwindling. Some cards are already ten cents more than what I paid for them a few days ago.

This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.
In my experience, common sense isn't too common.

Re: Steam Summer Sale 2013
I spent most of an iphone on the steam sale.
A while back I sold an old iphone at gamestop for store credit, then used that to buy steam money. Held on to most of it for quite a while.
Now I've got $17 left, I'd have less if I didn't sell so many cards and 2 TF2 keys. I did make a point to complete level 1 of the steam summer getaway, and full level 5 of the Kerbal Space Program badge. Love that game.
Endless Space + Disharmony - $11.89
Saints Row: The Third - The Full Package - $7.49
SimCity 4 Deluxe - $5.99
The Sims 3 Ambitions, The Sims 3 Generations, The Sims 3 + Pets - $44.97
Skyrim - Dawnguard - $9.99
The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn DLC - $9.99
StarForge - $9.99
The Sims 3: Supernatural - $20.09
= $120.40 total
As well as enough cards to fill out the level 5 KSP badge, although I figure overall I made money from all the cards I sold.
