I was just recently finally able to put the money down on a decent desktop.
Biostar TZ77XE3 Motherboard
i3-3220 Dual-Core @ 3.3Ghz
8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (2x4GB)
Nvidia GTX650Ti Boost 2GB SuperClocked GDDR5
1TB Seagate HDD
My board has 4 RAM slots and is SLI ready, so once I get some more money I'll drop 8GB more of RAM in and then another 650Ti

and besides I do some video editing on the side, but mostly I just wanted to have an easy upgrade path for the future when it stops being powerful enough to max the settings on most games.

Did I mention that I rebuilt a machine I found on the curb for under $400 and it's awesome? It's actually a decent old case. Came with dead monitor too.

Everyone knows blue leds give a 7% performance boost.
