Re: Outside your genre
So my latest taste for tunes has been these 2.
The first one Evanescence started here in AR..
As for this young man, Jamey Johnson well you get what you see. Seen him in concert a while back. And how he acts in the video is the way he performs. No fancy laser lights, or dancing around. Has that Outlaw country feel and sound.

Re: Outside your genre
I started to spend more and more time on classical music. Thanks in large part to Pandora.
The odd thing here is that I started with present day composers. So, John Williams, Klaus Badelt, Hans Zimmer, and Jeremy Soule. Well, that unexpectedly led me to Lindsey Sterling's dubstep mixes:
Which then brought me back to where the station originated and then I found this piano piece which I happen to love.

I stick with mostly classic rock.
But there are some flashes of brilliance in the dubstep community.
This version of this song is so cool with a live choir.

Re: Outside your genre
That's fine. The entire band pretty much quit after that album. All that is left is Amy Lee, which is why they are terrible now.XxOtaruxX wrote:I got tired of evanescence after fallen got played to death . Otherwise I thought they had so much potential.
Go listen to We are the Fallen. It's pretty much the entire band minus Amy Lee with a singer they actually picked up from American Idol. Their first album sounds a lot like what used to be good about Evanescence.
