7.62 battle rifle, primarily because the weapons I immediately associate with those calibres are the AK-47 and the M-16 respectively (...and we all know how THAT turns out).

The reincarnated brain of Sir Isaac Newton placed into a fully functional android, or Albert Einsten brought back to life and riding aboard a train moving 25% the speed of light.
