Parenthood
So as I sit here in the hospital with Daisy, about a week away from becoming a father, I was wondering how many of my fellow Villuns are also parents? I know a bunch of y'all are out there but was just curious who has kids, how many, etc.
As for us we're about to have a little girl. If everything stays stable it looks like they'll be helping her arrive a little early at 37 weeks. I'll admit I was horribly guilty of saying "we've still got a month" and now I'm scrambling! Our families have been really pitching in so I think I'll have everything ready on time.
So let's hear it, who are the moms and dads out there in the land of purple?

Re: Parenthood
I have 2: a 7 year old girl and a 5 year old boy. I wouldn't worry about it coming early; my daughter was a month early and is as healthy as can be.

I have a little 6 month old powdermilkgirl. No matter how prepared u think u are u are not even close to being prepared. Fatherhood is the most frustrating, exciting, and rewarding experience all wrapped up in a little bundle that tests u everyday but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I've got a 1.5 yr old daughter. Wish she was able to be with me more, sadly the circumstances hinder that.

My wife & I have a 4 month old girl, born the day after the Ocho Cup finals back in March. I tell you, it's been a trip trying to make time for games, but I wouldn't trade it. You should hear her squeal: cutest sound EVAR.
Really, EVAR.

Re: Parenthood
Wow, lots of kids about my daughter's age. I have a 21-month old daughter. I've long thought we should have a parental bragging thread sometime - mostly because my baby girl is such a cutie.
I actually vastly increased my playtime in the first few months after she was born, mainly because my wife would sleep when the baby did and I'd have nothing to do several hours each night but game. Once she got to normal sleep schedules I had to cut way back.

Lottsa diapers, bumps, and no's.
My youngest thinks his name is No. Which I'm sure isn't an isolated case.
Trying to break the thumb sucking habit right now. So his new sentence is OUT MOUF! As he is pointing at you.

We've got an 11 month old girl. She was born at about 36 weeks. She had breathing and eating problems to the point where we didn't think they'd let us leave the hospital. Now she's the healthiest thing can be.
Fatherhood is definitely a trip, and working in gaming can be hard. But I guarantee that you'll love it. Just try to help out Daisy as much as possible, even when you don't want to. Things are much easier all around when the mom is happy (or as happy as possible).
