After spending over $200 on fireworks during our recent trip to Indiana, my dad and I will be lighting up the Erie sky come Monday :)

Ya, no fireworks this year in Houston. They banned them in all the surrounding areas too. The drought has really taken its toll. Anyways, happy 4th villuns! (When it actually hits the 4th.)

Out of curiosity, aren't the same folks dumb enough to blow their fingers off the same ones who generally ignore such bans? I mean, I obviously hope they won't hurt themselves, but if the ban-circumventing people near where I grew up are any measure, they're not the smartest :-)

They should just station a cop with you guys at the hospital - you sew them up, and the cop attaches a ticket to their bill :-P
