I got BBCA, so I've been keeping up with the new episodes. What does everyone think of the new companion?
I like her so far.....
shes cool.

im a little bit disappointed so far with this season though a couple of good episodes and a couple of not so good. The Rings Of Akhaten episode i thought was just a space filler was not that impressed. But The Bells of Saint John, Hide and Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS i thought were excellent.
Hey you Would'nt you like to be a vicious orange carrot too?

I agree. Akhaten and Cold War were both pretty weak.
Hide actually freaked me out a bit. Probably one of the scariest episodes I've ever seen....

The last two episodes have been decent. But overall a lot of the recent season episodes have just been meh. I'm interested to see where the whole mystery with Clara goes, and I like her as a companion.

ok...the ending seemed rather rushed "oh yeah btw you are gonna forget this once you leave"
as is usual with these...not worth the hype, but i did enjoy it

Are we sure thats the case? It appears as though he doesn't forget. Maybe I'm just being strange, but he sees himself in the museum as the curator and he remembers it well. Unless of course that whole museum was just a hole in time, in which case everything I said has no meaning.

Wasn't a massive fan, seemed like there was a lot of hand waving over the timelock and the whole "he can't go to the same place twice" thing.

Well considering the doctor said specifically that... and considering for 7 seasons he thought he destroyed Galifrey...I think so... the curator part makes absolutely no sense and am willing to write it off as a one off throw away event to toss a last minute cameo in (which it was)

He said he remembers the face well... not the events

Ok, so (spoilers) he saved Galifrey instead of trapping it in a pocket dimension with the Daleks. I can accept that because it was "outside the timestream" he will spend 400 years thinking that he actually did it. That's fine.

But if that's what happened now, then how did Tenant die? He only died because the Master tried to pull Galifrey out of the pocket dimension (only had it shoved back in) and then took the dose of lethal radiation for Wilfred. But now that didn't happen because Galifrey wasn't in a pocket dimension. So how did Tenant die?

No that still holds he took Galifrey and froze it in time instead of destroying it... the moment... the way it was described in the special would outright kill everything...It seems the writers decided to make"frozen in a pocket of time"not all that bad...

If course it doesn't explain what the Lord President is all angry about... but being that nothing about Galifrey and the time war is in any way linear I guess there is no clear time of WHEN Lord President did his whole angry bit
