Honestly, if you don't want to watch subs watch Cowboy Bebop. The only dubbed series that is worth watching. Also, it's an amazing series.

Personally I couldn't stand the Japanese voice actors that did Outlaw Star (I know, call me weird) and prefer the English dub. But other than that and cowboy bebop I agree that it is usually better in Japanese :P

Getting back to what this thread SHOULD be about rather than my pretentious ramblings.

Of the NEW shows (read not sequels or continuations) there are 3 I am watching. Two of them I am cautiously optimistic about while one of them is awesome so far.

The one I would recommend so far is Kamisama no inai Nichiyoubi. The ones I am cautiously optimistic about are Gatchaman Crowds (I know, technically not NEW but not a continuation either) and Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou. I'm still not sold if I can make it through Crowds with how annoying the MC is, but I'll give it 1 or 2 more episodes before I write it off. Kakeru Taiyou has a definite Madoka undertone to it. Looks like a happy and cheery magical girl show but turns out....not.

Series that I am watching that are sequels are:

Highschool DxD New
Hakkenden Touhou Hakken Ibun
Senki Zesshou Symphogear G

Of those, DxD and Hakkenden are good. Symphogear is more amusing than good so I keep watching it.

I just finished Gurren Lagann and it was awesome. One of the best I've seen so far.

I am watching Genshiken Nidaime this season. It is awesome. Poor poor Madarame.

I'm pretty sure Crunchyroll got every single anime this season.

What are you guys planning on watching/do you have any recommendations?

I'm usually a season or two behind (intentionally) as I like to binge watch an entire season within a few days rather than wait a week between episodes. The downside is waiting for series like Monagatari to finish before watching. I'm currently wrapping up the third season of Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World God Only Knows).

Well the season seems to be winding down but I was watching
Genshiken
Railgun
Monogatare
Shingeki no Kyojin

Also watching the new Yamato because I never watched any of the old ones.

So are they just finished with the first season of Shingeki no Kyojin? Cuz if not, that was kinda a weak ending IMO to what was otherwise a pretty darn good series!

I doubt it represents the end of the story but I have no idea whether they will get picked up for another season. Read the manga?

That was the end of the first season. There has been no conformation for a second season yet.
Your best bet is either buy the manga (Which the anime follows very closely) or read the manga online illegally.
