Meanwhile, in Episode Three... what? (Optional: Skip the one-minute transitional set-piece and get to the part with the... milk. I'd add "skip the dialogue when she's walking down the stairs, but that might actually have expository value... maybe.)

First of all cheese that anime, is a little to weird for my taste.

Second I just got done watching sengoku basara (I think that's the name)
It's mainly about japan history in the samurai era but alter.

I don't consider it a panty shot when there's no clothing covering it to begin with, the thing the penguin hat girl's wearing is more like some sort if weird leotard.

There's no good way to say this, but crotch is crotch, whether it is leos or panties.
Also, I never want to have this discussion ever again.

Watched 5 Centimeters per Second yesterday.
The animation was amazing, but I just can't stand actionless anime I guess.

I have been watching a few animes recently but very slowly. Blue Exorcist, Natsume Yujincho, Durarara, (On Adultswim)
and I've been thinking about picking up No. 6, and The Idol Master (Just because I've heard a lot about it but I doubt I'll like it)

I've turned into a lame anime fan I think, I'm not really into fanservice anymore. I don't know what happened to me.

Wow, Adult Swim is actually showing something AMAZING like Durararara? They just regained a bit of my respect, but only a bit.

If you don't like slow shows, No. 6 is not a show you will enjoy. So far it is very very very slow.

Not to mention the yaoi vibes it gives off en masse.

I did like House of Five Leaves which was a slow anime, but One Medic's post scared me.

/shrug

After having sat down and watched an episode of Junjo Romantico with one of my best female friends, I can tell you now that No. 6 isn't anywhere remotely near Yaoi territory. Boys Love? Maybe. Yaoi? Not. Even. Close.

After reading this thread, I realize I'm not as big of a nerd as I once thought I was.

You're not helping their case. That show is drivel in my opinion.

Kekkaishi's not Bad, but Durararara is great

I largely gave up on watching anime on Adult Swim as I basically can't stand dubbing. I'll usually check out the series elsewhere.

I recently watched Ore No Imouto Ga Konna Ni Kawaii Wake Ga Nai and really liked it despite the strange hobby that restored the relationship between the siblings.

About the only Anime where I feel the English dub is better than the original Japanese is Cowboy Bebop. The voice casting for the English version is magnificent. I can't watch the Japanese version, it just pales in comparison now.

I didn't watch Ore no Imouto so I can't really comment on it other than the basic plot.

Realize, I am the one that spent 8 months in Japan this past year in an intensive Japanese language program. Anime for me is practice! :)
