CJ had an amazing year but not sure he can top even an average year for AP this time around.Hamese wrote:CJ was taken #1 in many drafts. I'm not sure AP is any better or worse.

Re: The Ville Fantasy Football (it's that time again)
My projections have CJ around 1300 yds and about 10 TDs. ADP is a good player as well... I ahve him projected at 1,400 yds and 12 TDs.
Lots of things to like about CJ though: he breaks away for long runs making him a homerun threat and he has been in relatively injry free. ADP didn't break many long runs last year and has a tendency to fumble (if your league doesn't take points away for fumbling then no big deal).

took rodgers first because I think he'll have a 40 point better year than every other quarterback, I am not sure AP or CJ will have that over the next best RB, and I still ended up with shonn greene and ryan mathews so I think I did alright.

So there was a game last night and I have a few saints, but I don't see their stats reflected yet. Still shows 09 stats. Does that not show up until all the players' actual teams have played or what?

I have no idea, but I am finding ESPN's league not to be as nice as the NFL.com one we used last year. I still haven't found things I'm use to seeing. I would love to know how many points everyone has, especially my opponent, but they are not there yet.
Re: The Ville Fantasy Football (it's that time again)
under the scoreboard tab you will see all the weeks matchups, from there you can click on the quick boxscore link to see individual players. Hopefully it isn't just for insiders.

Yeah, you should be able to see the weekly scoreboard here (it's supposed to update live also)... as Giz said, not sure if it's just an Insider thing only.

Glad to have Arian Foster the first week, he bailed my team out!

I've started to find what I need after working with it today
Gator, it was great to see foster work out for the Texans today.
My team finally came back, but how did my defense get -7 points? I mean I would have been better off with no D.

I think it's because the Pats hung 38 points on them and they couldn't record a sack or turnover, Hamese.

I think the least amount of points should be 0... leaving a spot open should never result in a better score, IMO. I guess I am a little bias this week, and I hope rice gets hurt just enough to leave tonight game after no more than 39 yards (should be more like 110 yards).

Someone who is biting their tongue because this is a family forum and whose opponent is infuriating.
Re: The Ville Fantasy Football (it's that time again)
of course he is infuriating, he is a saints fan.
QB's can get negative points too, throwing ints, dropping fumbles getting sacked. default scoring takes away for bad things. If you set it up next year you can edit the settings.
