Weird and scary stuff...

Well seeing as it is around Holloween. I thought it be a good time to ask "Whats a paranormal or otherwise known as weird experience you've had?" This includes stuff that is scary but non-paranormal. I'll give examples below

I've personally had a few happen to me, and I know of a few that happend with my best friend.

1. I cant really recall how long ago this was but I was maybe... 15 or 16 years old. I was in the bathroom washing my face and hands for w/e reason. It was probably around 6 or 7 pm-ish. I was home alone, and I at the time owned no animals. Just as I was about halfway done I caught a dark shadowy figure out of my right eye. The shadow was about the size of a big dog or a person crouching. Just as i turned my head to see what it was it zoomed past down the hallway. Scared the crap out of me. It didnt make any sounds when going down the hallway but to this day i swear something ran down that hallway.

2. My mom said that when we all first moved into this house. She was in the garage and heard a faint sound of kids calling for their mother. I dont know if at the time she knew this story, but I no more than a few months ago were told that this house before we bought it. Was owned by a preacher and his family. The wife went in the garage and used the fumes from the car to commit suicide, but in doing so killed the sleeping kids in the rooms above the garage. I love how i find this out NOW, AFTER i moved into the basement (which of course, is connected to the garage).

3. Again with the shadowy figures, I've had on several occasions at my house and other peoples houses where when i walk by a mirror or look at one. I end up seeing something that isnt there. Which makes for alot of fun seeing as i have 5 mirrors in my room alone. I would shrug this off to just being a weird random thing but ive had this happen to me well over like 20 just off the top of my head.

I've got a few more i wanna post, but i dont wanna miss quote my friend. So when i get ahold of him ill have him explain it.

Ok here’s my story.

When I was about ten years old I woke up one night to find a man standing at the end of my bed looking at me. I couldn’t see a lot of details other then he was wearing a derby hat on his head. I closed my eyes and wet my bed and never spoke of this to anyone.

Just a few years ago I was visiting my parents in Michigan. My father was showing me a photo album of the small town I grew up in. I noticed on one page there was a picture of a man wearing a derby hat. Chills ran up my spine when I ask my father who he was.
I knew what was coming. it was Mr. Burroughs, a man who died in the house before we moved in.

Ok, have only told a few about this.

Drove from California to Maryland when I was in my mid 20s to visit a friend who was in the service. He and his wife were living in an old farm house with another couple. It was my second night there I was sleeping down stairs in the living room, the others upstairs I could not sleep due the humidity. The stairs were in the center of the house next to were I was trying to sleep, they were the kind of stairs that had walls on either side so you had to be standing directly in front of them to see up to the top.

Well while I was lying there sweating lol I saw a light come on and it seemed to be coming from the stairs so out of curiosity I get up and go to the bottom of the stairs to see what’s up. At the top of the stairs was a bright glowing figure with arms, legs and head could not make out any facial features. Well this figure starting moving towards me, it was strange I was not scared but could not move like something was holding me there, Oh and it got cold as well. This figure came about half way down the stairs towards me and then started moving back up the stairs; of course it was kind of like floating not actually touching the ground. So I realize once it starts back up the stairs I can move again, so instead of running away like I should have I follow this figure up the stairs. When it gets back to the top of the stairs I was about half way up it went into the bathroom that was at the top of the stairs, through the door of course while it was closed. So I run up to the top of the stairs open the bathroom door and watch this figure go straight through and out the back wall of the bathroom, the other side of the wall was outside. I looked out the window and there was nothing.

I didn’t tell my friends living there I was thinking they would have thrown me out. Well of course years later I did say something to them and you would never guess, someone did die there years ago. So I’m just thinking maybe this figure I saw was that person telling me that he was leaving due to it being such a calming effect on me, was weird. They also told me no one else ever saw anything before or after that but there were some strange things going on like sounds and things being moved, they did tell me that it all stopped after I left, and remember I never said a word to them until years later.

Right outside of Gaithersburg, damn if I don't remeber the address I will have to try and dig it up its been sooooo long. Was only there for about a week, then we moved to a condo in Gaithersburg lived there for a few years.

yeah deacon i had something creepy goin on wit the mirrors...theres this one window thats at the end of the hallway and when im walkin to my room at home i hafta look directly at the mirror and i always see someone dark just pass by behind me in the mirror...i used to get completely freaked out by it but now im just used to it and just expect to see it

I have a UFO story.

My father and I were coming back to the cottage one night at least a good dozen years ago. He was driving and we were in the old Dodge Ram. Anyway, I'm just lookin about and I see a light show up above the treeline. I asked my dad if he saw it too and what it was. There were no towers or anything by there so we were stumped. It then moved very quickly to the left, kinda zig zagging a bit as it went further into the sky. My father and I both watched it till it flew out of sight. Freaked me out.

No ghost stories that I can remember though. I know there's a few, but I cant remember the details.

my dad once told me of an experiance he had. it was in an hotel here in stoke on trent, called the moorville hall. my father and my mother were visiting as the knew the owners. he was walking across the dance floor with a tray full of drinks when he stumbled. everyone thought he had tripped and laughed, but he swears blind he was pushed. the owners then told him that an old gent had died in the corner which he was a passing years back and since then quiet a few people had, had strange experiances. the owners themselves had, had one in the cellar, there was 2 of them painting when one was pulled from his ladder yet the other guy was 15 feet away.

dont know if theres anything else happened, but it is still owned by the same family. but since my father died we no longer keep in touch.

Okay all this is from my friend Mike. Hes actually had several more, but they are things that are a bit more desputable or hes just unsure of all the facts. Anyways here ya go.

The first 3 happend after his aunt died.
1. A friend of his aunt Pearl was into arts and crafts and was setting up decorations around her house for no real reason. She strung up some pine cones and had to leave for a minute. When she came back a pearl, right before her eyes dropped out of the pine cone.

2. After his aunt Pearl passed away, they were cleaning out her house. Taking out everything inside, basically gutting the house. Just as they were making one final look over the house to make sure everything was out. A single pearl came tumbling down the stairs.

3. His uncle was going around taking pictures of the house from the outside and of the property around it. He took a shot of one of the upper windows of the house. They got the pictures developed and enlarged because they noticed a shadowy figure who looks like they are sitting down and looking out the window. Its not a perfect image of a person its a rough shadow and it looked like the figure was wearing an odd shaped hat. The thing about this that makes it specially creepy is the fact that his aunt pearl was known for collecting odd shaped hats.

4. His older brother was sitting up at night doing stuff in his room on the computer at around 2 am. Everyone else in the house was asleep at the time. He heard strange crying sounds. He went to investigate and no matter where he went he couldnt determine where the sound was comming from. He described it as being the sound of a little girl crying. There was no girl in the house, all tvs, radios were off and he checked on ppl while they slept and they werent making the sound.

5. A former neighbor had a history of mental problems, one night she apparently snapped. His house door was pretty much wide open except for a screen door (this was during the summer). The lady apprently ran right past that door and into the neighbors house. She started to chase around the mid-teen child and even managed to get her hands on a knife. The chase even continued out outside and he was chased all the way down the street. The father couldnt do anything because he at the time had a busted leg. (This falls under the scary portion of this topic because it could have just as easily happend to my friend)

6. At his old house his parents owned an old music box. The thing was prolly broke because it would just start playing for no reason. It got to the point that annoyed him and his brother, because it would wake them up in the middle of the night. So they thinking like little kids thought "out of sight, out of mind". So they put it in there parents bedroom, underneath the bed and piled old clothes and rags on top of it. A while after that they intended on putting in an attic in their house, seeing as they didnt have one. When his parents were done cutting the hole in the ceiling they found the music box in the attic. He and his brother ran into his parents room to look for the box and the clothes were still piled in the same spot, but the box was not there any more. Now mind you they originally didnt have an attic so theres no way that it could have gotten up there by someone elses hands.

7. His mother had just gotten done doing laundry and folded the clothes on the bed. They had gone and had dinner and left the house to run an errand or something. They came back and his mom was looking for a kitchen knife because she was fininshing up cleaning from dinner. She found it in the bedroom where the clothes were. She found that the sheets had been buchered underneath each pile of clothes. Just the sheets, not the matress or any of the clothes.

8. He recalled one time again during the summer when he was at his old house. They had all the windows open and out of no where every single window in the house slammed shut at the same time.

9.lol wow this one creeps me out. He said that his mom told him this one. When his mom was a little girl, a freak storm started to come in while she was at school. The school was apparently near a church and when the storm hit a wind tunnel touched down and "offically became a tornado". When it did so, it touched down on the church and ripped the cross off. As soon as that happend the storm immediatlly stopped.

I haven't had any experiences with ghosts, but I'm waiting for one eventually. I anticipate peeing my pants, but that's alright.

However, during the summers in this little town I grew up in my friends and I would spend a lot of nights outside and we would sleep on the trampolines that two different friends of mine had. One night when we were laying out there acting like idiots and making jokes, I tilted my head back because I was laughing hysterically, and just as I looked upwards three intensely bright blue discs zipped across the sky incredibly fast, in tight formation. It was, absolutely, without a doubt, a formation of flying saucers, and it completely freaked me out. I froze totally. And then it was gone. My friends, of course, didn't believe me. Whether they were man-made or extraterrestrial, I don't know, but they were certainly unidentified. Since then I have done some searching on the internet and I have seen photos that others have taken of similar objects.

Oddly enough, I also saw another UFO, while laying out back on my OTHER friend's trampoline. [In villages of 3,000 people, there's not a lot to do in the summer ] This one was a string of orange lights, but it didn't freak me out as much. I guess I was used to it by then or something. I have also seen pictures similar to this one on the internet.
