The Avs beat the Sharks last night with 40 seconds left. They will proceed to win the series.

NHL.... I only watch local hockey.
I know nothing about the NHL....but I'm going to predict the Avs are going to win the cup.
I bet someone 50 forum points that the Av's succeed. 50 points because I probably have an extremely low chance of winning this bet

It would be amazing if the Avs won the cup this year.

Oh this would make wyo sooooo happy, but they are way too young and lack the firepower to do this. I have been an Av's fan for over 12 years and I just wish we could get back to the old days of Roy, Sakic, Forsberg, and ummmmm CUPS. Anderson is good but lacks the experience in the playoffs as do most of the rest of the team. They are moving in right direction. This will take some time. I DO HOPE I AM EATING MY OWN WORDS IN A COUPLE MONTHS

I watch all hockey, including the AHL. I try to see the Hershey Bears when I have the funds and time. Oh and I have 100 pts on the Caps so far!

I'll only watch college hockey. My alum plays in the Hockey East. One of the best college Division 1 hockey leagues in the country.

University of Denver and Colorado College are the great hockey schools south of 40lat. Awesome to watch.

I would perfectly fine if we did not win the cup and just beat San Jose. A young team, needs that playoff experience in order to do well. Since they won game 1, they now think they can win, which is HUGE. Mind you they beat San Jose on Apr 4 as well, the last meeting between the two clubs. I would be ecstatic to see the Avs play the Red Wings for the Western Conference Finals.

I am not a hockey fan. But seeing there's this thread and I live in the bayarea and our team is good (I guess?) I'll have to say that the Sharks are going to win it all.

The problem with San Jose is that they are great during the regular season, but come playoff time, they just do not do well at all.
There is a reason sharks do not swim in avalanches.
