Username?

[Cadman]

Ok guys, got a question...

When playing TF2 the server displays harris127 (my acct name) and not Cadman.

What do I need to do to fix it so it displays Cadman instead?

Under the settings of Steam you can change your name, I believe it is called nickname.

If you need some more navigation we can point you further. I know if you are in game you can "shift+tab" to pull up your steam friends list. From there should be an area to change your nickname.

When on Steam, go to View my Profile, on the right it'll say Edit My Profile under Actions. Go there and in the first space it'll say Profile name and you can edit your display name in that field. However, your account name will stay the same. That doesn't matter though, as it is only seen by Valve for transactions and stuff.

Also, seen you on TheVille's 24/7 Warpath server. I was the Medic healing you when you were Heavy. Welcome to the Ville!

He should be welcoming you, he's one of the original Ville founders back from a long absence

Friends --> view --> settings. Then edit your nickname.

Thanks everyone, I'm now once again Cadman. Be afraid, be very afraid, lol.

Now all I have to figure out is what all the different keys do (again).

Also trying to get Bufford Pusser to get back in the grove. We'll see.

Being of the younger folk to the Ville, it is an easily missed detail
