I've just been making a bit of noise myself. I don't know what the purpose of it is either, aside from making lots of aforementioned noise with lots of other people.

From what I can tell, it is really only useful as spam for a normal person, but for groups that want to keep their users up to date it is useful. The NS2 team use it to say what they worked on or any blogs or news updates ect...

I've got an account, it's more or less just another way to keep in touch with people.

It's not all tweeting about taking a dump and stuff like that. Pretty useful for keeping up to date with websites with a constant flow of infos too.

And for those of you that are confused about what twitter is for; its for whatever you want it to be. There is no wrong way to use twitter.

I personally think it's kinda funny. Don't care if we're using it right, it's amusing. And alot of noise. I think I might be able to dump everything I find on the internet (that's not high enough quality to post here) there, and you can check if you need to kill time.

I can do this, because when am I NOT surfing the internets?
