What about the abuse of the word only? That's the one that really drives me crazy. I only ate one fish vs the correct version I ate only one fish. The former implies that the only thing a person ever eats in their entire existence is one fish, the latter is saying that one fish was consumed by said person. The word only is acting on the closest verb or noun following or preceding it...not one that is halfway down the sentence like so many people seem to think it does! The good rule of thumb to follow, always place right before the number (or the thing you are trying to modify with it)!

Pretty sure I usually get the grammer stuff right...but I probably spell every word that you mentioned in the spelling section wrong!
