Someone has hacked EZCrash's account and is trying to get you to go get a free game.

The link I am sure will take you to a site where all you need to do is sign in with your valve name and password and then you get your "Free Game".

In fact that wont be the case, your steam account will be stolen and password changed so DO NOT FALL FOR THIS MESSAGE !!!

Yeah, it would be a bit unusual if he got it back that quick. That said, both him and his son (whatever name he goes by) were both shown as playing Synergy earlier tonight.

Well I had an in-depth conversation with Ez, and yes it is him. info gathered from previous conversations

i am really surprised at how quickly steam solved the issue

Well, maybe this phisher has a few accounts to spam with and didn't get to Ez's until after it had been reported and looked into. He sent me his message at 8 and I replied at 11.

Steam had an offer like this for a while where if you had an Nvidia graphics card you got half life 2 and half life 2 deathmatch for free. But the URL looked a lot more legit because it was actually the valve website.
