Key Elements of Zombie Panic
For those that haven't played Zombie Panic before, their website has some information about how things work.
Link - Click on About ZP for the information.
One thing the site doesn't explain is about Stamina. As a survivor, you have a Stamina meter in the upper left part of your screen. As you run your stamina is depleted, when it runs out you will move very slow. You can replenish stamina by standing still for a few moments or by using the walk key instead of running.
Post other hints and tips if you have any to share.

Magnum: Aim for the head, one shot, one kill.
Shotty: Keep a pistol as backup, shotty has slow rate of fire.
Rifle: keep for close encounters, it has blowback.
Pistil: I see people throw theirs away all the time...I get most of my kills with pistols, especially from far away.
If groups are holed up somewhere, always have someone looking out. No matter how many games I"ve tried...there's always the group of survivors that gets trampled by a few zombies because no one was looking out.
Zombies, if you're attacking a large group of holed up survivors...for the love of God, attack in a group. One zombie at a time is an easy target for 3 or more survivors hunkered down.

Re: Key Elements of Zombie Panic
When you are hit by the Carrier you have a 10% chance of being infected. If you are infected, your health symbol will change in the upper right corner of your screen. It won't happen right away, but when it does you'll have about a minute left until you turn into one of the undead. This brings up an interesting situation. Once you realize you've become infected do you warn the survivors or do you not tell them and continue to travel along with them and wait to strike? The latter is more fun obviously

I'm ITCHING to play. It took almost 8 hours to download last night. Got a movie date with the Mrs. tonight, so I guess I'll have to wait till Wednesday.
One question, does ZPS have friendly fire on or no? I guess I can figure that in game, but it would be nice to know ahead of time.
This looks like it's going to be a lot of fun ...

Re: Key Elements of Zombie Panic
Useful information. On subway, the button for the vent is the most important part of the map. As humans, if you don't close the vent, you WILL lose. As zombies, you can protect the vent with a few folks and send out hunting parties. Also be aware that you make no footsteps as you crouch, extremely important for zombie players. Humans...ditch the ppk. It's garbage and dead weight. The remmy is a good shotty but very heavy, so only take it if you are going to travel light. Rifles are ok when with others but horrible alone. The reload time is atrocious so be careful with them if you get separated from the group. The magnum is nasty...absolutely disgusting especially if you have good aim. Headshots kill regular zombies and leave the carrier with very little health. I usually try to go magnum/shotty so I can pick off zombies from afar and mow em down if they swarm. Realize that ammo is extremely scarce, so don't open fire unless you think you have a kill. Also remember that even though pistols are semi auto, you stand a better chance of taking a bit of time to aim for the head rather than unloading a clip into a zombie wildly.
I will find you...and I will kill you
