We did some more Free For All and one Coop Speed Run.

Lets see if I have these all correct.

Lots of fun!

The standard has been Normal but that's not to say we couldn't start a new class of runs for the higher, or even lower, difficulty levels.

My main issue with doing total time speed runs based on what the end titles screen says is that it takes the total time from start to finish, loading times included. Unfortunately, people with slower machines will be a detriment to the team since they will lose precious seconds loading.

We did some speed runs a few months ago and the fastest we could do Dead Center on Normal was 16 minutes (per the end screen). I have a somewhat slow loading machine and I was dragging our time down. However, when we timed the individual maps and added them to get a grand total, we managed to do it in 12:57.

Sadly, there is no way to prove individual map times so we're stuck with what the end title screen says. :?

So, it also counts the time in the safe room, then. I think we've added a ton of time to our runs by puzting in the room for a long time, then. :D

Yeah, I'm not the fastest loading machine either. I ran with a group the other night that was halfway through the map before I came in, and when I did I was out of the safe room being mobbed by a horde with no time to get ready or catch up. My health was already halfway gone and trying to fight out of a 360 degree horde that has been building is not a quick thing.

I thought the times were from safe room door opening to safe room door closing, but I was corrected and realized that night that I would never help a team that was really trying to get good times. It has been fun for me when the team waits, but when they didn't I almost had my first rage quit.
