TheVille

Hey guys, for some reason I didn’t realize TheVille had servers for L4D (and L4D2 I assume). This is excellent news as L4D is one of the few games I play where I feel it is necessary (at the very least: more rewarding) to play with competent gamers. If possible, can someone invite me to the steam group (actually for TF2 as well)? I would much rather play with villuns. My SteamID is also ShadyJane.

I’d really like to complete all the campaigns on expert (and one with realism activated) at some point and I cannot fathom doing this with a pug without relying on luck and the kind heart of The Director.

P.S. I hope TheCarpe only uses the fire-axe when he plays this game

Not all I use, since they're not always available, but if I find one I grab it, and it stays with me all campaign

I like to grab it first, and then make him trade me for a katana.

I was made aware after a couple Versus games by people on the Infected team that there was a recurring strategy against me. I can't keep my axe between chapters since inventory resets, so I have to keep finding a new one. So the Infected looked for fire axes and camped them. because they knew I'd come running if I spotted it.

The worst part was, it worked a couple times

On a side note, I can't decide most of the time to either go Rifle/sniper + melee or Shotgun + pistols. Melee is fun and it complements a rifle well (Short ranged + longed ranged) and same with the pistol. Usually I pick the opposite of what most of my team is doing.

i like the snipers + 2 pistols personally. pistols for common and sniper for everything else. We had 4 military snipers wow that tank died fast.

Meh I can use sniper on commons.

I usually like to use the Hunting/Sniper Rifles in tandem with melee. Maximum damage at all ranges. In absence of either rifle, any of the assault rifles will do, but I'm not a shotgun fan. I likes my accurate weaponry.

Fire Axe is of course my favorite melee as well, but if one isn't around, I'll rock out the cricket bat or the machete. I pretty much only use the pistols when I'm incapped.

Is there a reason the Ville L4D2 servers aren't attached to the Steam group? I still can't start a lobby for a Steam group server, though I could for L4D, still need to use the searchkey which leads to lots of villuns starting games outside Ville servers. . .

They are attached to both TheVille and the L4D2 groups, but since when could you start a lobby on a group server?
