If a player requests an invite (to TheVille L4D Players or any other group you're a member of) you don't have to add them to your friends list unless you want to invite them to pals also.

You can search for their Steam profile name (i.e. =USV= CastleDoctrine) in the search box at the top right of your Steam Community window. Once you find their profile page just click on "Invite to join your group" under "Actions" at the upper right corner of the page. That should open a pop-up list of all the groups you belong to that you can send invites from. Just click to select the one you want.

Umm in the Community they limit the # of groups to 11 were in your friends list they doesn't limit the # and the L4D group is one of the Few that were left out of my list by limitations its a steam thing but that was a good Idea too.....

I didn't know that.

[/quote]Seems to be as I only get a list of 11 and I can invite to all the other ones that are not on the list of 11

I see. The reason I haven't noticed this is that I am a member of <11 groups.

So how can I get a lobby started with a a Ville server?? as all I have been able to do is jump in to a game with the ville servers or do nothing when the servers do not show in my game list Steam what are they thinking

That's an important milestone to remember for groups used primarily for inviting. Perhaps Valve will increase the member count threshold in the future, like they did with the maximum number of players in our Friends lists a while back.
