Very interesting! This makes it into an actual decision as to whether or not to molotov the tank.

Well, wouldn't you run faster if you were on fire? :P

He also makes different groaning and screaming noises!

Of course, only I find that interesting because I enjoy knowing trivial facts.

There appears to be much dissenting opinions in that very thread, as flaws are pointed out in the video, anecdotes are delivered, etc...

As soon as I can create content for L4D a la Source SDK, I should make a long tunnel for which to spawn molotovs, and in game, a Tank. It might take some directional assistance to make sure that the user is going straight backwards, to, such as a trigger_push, essentially making the player a sort of rabbit and the Tank a greyhound.

After watching the video myself, however, I find little room for error. My recommended strategy against tanks has been for all players to form a firing line (preferably in a corner), as even if one player gets thrown, the remaining should be able to take it down. Crouch in the front, stand in the back, and close your eyes as you shoot like mad, because the less people panic, the faster it falls.

Just my anecdotal, in-game, observation, but it always seems that when I become the Tank in versus, I slow down. :?
