TK Points

Post by Cujo » Mon Oct 27, 2008 11:10 am

Could someone PLEASE lower it.??? It's set at -20 ..Ouch !!! maybe like 10 or so would be better... I mean, if a dude runs into my fire, while I'm covering an area, in which helps us out, and someone runs into my saw, and I kill them, I'm now down 20 points, and it would take me a good part of the map to get those points back...

Ya im gonna second this, alot of players run into your line of fire. On top of that this game makes it harder for MGs and snipers to get kills compared to "assault" class's (if you dont belive me look at the top 10 players) and the support class's are the ones who mainly deal with people crossing line of fire.

Bassicly your "turning off" players from using the support classes

I'm going to have to agree, I think -10 is enough. The people who are doing it on purpose, aren't worried about their score either. Having to kill 7-10 people just to make up for someone getting into my line of fire hurts :P

So many times I've been happily suppressing a window or doorway with the SAW, and some completely suicidal doofus runs right across my field of fire... GAH!

Then there's the grenades... Most hilarious thing ever was the time I went to toss a grenade, and the guy prone in front of me chooses that exact moment to stand up suddenly. The grenade bounces off his head, lands behind me, rolls down the hill a bit, and detonates amongst a couple of other soldiers. *BANG* -40 points. :*(

So PLEASE reduce the point loss!
Cat: Forget red - let's go all the way up to brown alert!
Kryten: There's no such thing as a brown alert, sir.
Cat: You won't be saying that in a minute!

Ive had to TK Clay on several occasions recently to teach him a lesson. I think 20 is extremely steep, 5 will do, especially in this sort of game.

I still dont know why you were tking me...

But I do know that -20 is a bit steep, especially since the game lacks basic IFF features that most players are used to (on-hud minimap, floating identifiers, etc).

I don't have control over the stats, but -10 would probably be better.

It was -50 when we started. Then everyone complained about that so then someone said knock it down to -20 so we did and now you want it lower....

....so now it's -10

At this rate of going it'll be 0 by the end of next month!

-10 seems about right to me. Played last night. Now I only have to kill 5 people to make up for it.
