Brass beast can be useful on MvM if you get the speed boost. Otherwise leave it in the backpack. The backpack also generally applies to Tomislav and Natascha.

I wish Natasha wasn't nerfed to hell with its damage.

Agreed! Natascha is about = to Tomislav in terms of damage per second. Both are generally unacceptable in pub play.

Natascha is actually pretty useful on MvM with slowing down the giant scouts.

Which brings us to quickfix and vaccinator. Neither should ever be equipped!

But the brass beast makes great scrap metal!

I disagree on the QF soltan. Valve servers are lulzy with solly/QF medic :D

QF is useful on initial push of something like Granary or Badlands, otherwise it's worthless.

I've struggled against Vaccinator Medic + Heavy combos, when the bullet resistance is on. Of course all it needs is a good solider/pyro/demo to counter that. But if all the other team has is a bunch of heavies, it's somewhat useful.

I've seen a couple medics who were very effective with the vacc. The fact that they could use "ubers" so often, made them very dangerous. While you don't get the full invul, you do get pretty close, and can use it in spurts and much more often.

I don't see me switching to it anytime soon however.

I'm equally bad with all the heavy weapons, so I stick with stock (which is fairly true for most of my classes). It seems that stock is usually best, unless you have a specific play style, or there is really no down side (uber saw vs bone saw)

MvM seems to be the home for weapons you can't do much with elsewhere. There are all sorts of weapons that are great in MvM, that I never see used anywhere. I'm convinced that if the weapon is pretty useless, you ought to use it in MvM. Fan O' War, Brass beast, Scottish Resis., Natasha, Battalion Backup. I'll bet the soldier laser weapons are probably fantastic in MvM, but nobody is willing to try them.

Heavy:

Minigun (stock/strange)
Sandvich
Tickle Mittens.

Anything else and you're fooling yourself!

tomislav is good if you have mastered jumping and dropping your mini gun, and many are the players caught unawares by a silent minigun, especially playing tunnels and blind corners
