so i was bored adn played on our css server tonight.. and when i got there most of the bots were lvl 600
so they each had about 400 hp and did tons of damage

and her ei was lvl 10 trying to fight these guys

so i was wondering is this going to get fixed?

im guessing its the reason why people dont really stay on the server for very long

I changed it to where they will reset at lvl 500. Should be all set now.

I think we have to many bots. Six bots who leave when players join would be plenty.

I tried playing on this server about a day or two ago- my two cents:

Where is this particular server located? I live in the Northeast US, and I was getting 120-150 ping with semi-regular spikes up into the 200s- enough to make it frustrating to play. This could potentially be part of the problem of players. It may be that the mod(s) bog down the server? I know this has been the case with servers I've played on in the past- they would often need restarts.

The only other problem is that I think there may be a particular ability that should be capped far below where it is now- I imagine it's some sort of 'explosion' upon death, and at a high enough level it simply ends the round by killing everyone still alive. At least that's what I think was happening- a level 400 bot with a chance to wipe everyone when it dies is a bit of a 'lolwut' moment that quickly gets old.

I think what you're describing is when all the human players die the bots will all be killed immediately so people don't have to wait around watching a bot v. bot round.

Well, that explains that then! I checked again after that post, server still pings an average 150 for me, which is right at the threshold of unacceptable, at least for anyone who wants to do something besides miss a lot and get killed in CS:S.
