TFC training fun nights

Post by DeafOfficeWorker » Mon Mar 23, 2009 7:17 pm

We know the ten year Cup is going to be TFC. For the folks who weren't around The Ville during TFC, it was very much like it is now. Highly skilled players with great attitudes. ;)

TFC is not TF2.

What I propose is that we pick a night for a little advanced tutorial. That means that some of you old farts need to come out of hiding and show some villuns the intricacies of TFC. From what I remember:

Sgt. Stutter: Soldier/Engineer

JCOM: Medic/Pyro/Engineer

JohnDoe: Sniper/Soldier

ClayPigeon: Scout/Medic

Beeron: I'm not sure but...Heavy/Soldier maybe? :?

Silver One: Spy

Frag Failure: Spy

TYO & KRG: What did y'all play? Damn...I seem to remember TYO playing Spy maybe? KRG favored solly?

Stevo: Heavy/Demo (?)

Giz: Demo/Medic (?)

:eh4:

I can't remember diddly squat these days.

Anyway, I'm asking that we coordinate and host some fun nights prior to The Cup to share some knowledge so we can have some good games. All villuns who are TFC vets, please PM me with your specialty and availability to help show those unfamiliar with TFC things which will help their teams.

i always remember stevo as a heavy or engy.. but that might just be my memory...

i was just talking to tyo on the tfc server the other night, saying that i rarely ever played demo in tfc. i was pretty bad with the pipes oddly enough and never took time to learn them. most of the time i went demo for the detpack or pipe jumping to det on avanti.

medic( note the oldschool sig i've been sporting that computer made me looong time ago)-scout-pyro-soldier i think is what i mostly played.

i figured i'd post here instead of pming you.

That works!

Whenever we have Scout/Medic training, someone can show me how to conc jump. I could never quite get the hang of it.

I used to play a lot of Spy, Heavy and Solly.

I picked rocket jumping back up pretty easily, but it's been too long for me to be useful for any other skill.

I would love to participate in the learning, though!
