Masakari and I have been working on an event map for pyro tennis! This is not your ordinary pyro pong map. Optimal game play with 2 or 3 pyros per side.

- The spawn area has what I call "theater skybox". The action going on in the playing field is projected onto the sky surrounding the area.

- Tether ball of death for more spectator enjoyment :D

- Teleport into the playing field by stepping on to your team's logo

- Win the round by deflecting rockets into (and breaking) the glass. Pyros must protect their glass wall.

- Health/ammo lockers on playing field to promote fast paced action.

Just a suggestion....like the cube maps, you should make them "pong_" maps

Very interesting! I am inclined to agree with Dog here, though. pyropong is a very long prefix.

I wonder, is it possible to spawn in rockets without someone firing them? Maybe have some kind of a trigger pad that makes a sentry fire a rocket cluster (but not bullets) at the pyro?
