Post by Blown65 » Mon Oct 23, 2006 8:35 pm

k, whats the site for this mod. I might have to check it out. Too bad TFC didnt have something like this, might be kinda cool having upgraded abilities.

TFC had a mod called AdminOP (I think) that had a similar system with cash and upgrades.

Yeah, but people get exp for injuring high lvls. I think you might even get exp for being killed by one :).

If people stay on for a full game or two they start to by several first upgrades and level quicker. Plus if you can get on the server when there are a little more people you will level faster if your team is winning because you get exp for the team defusing or rescuing and winning in general.

CS:S is better than 1.6 and is fun to play on our RPG server. I'm suprised DoD:S didn't take off as much as the CS:S.

If you do buy it, just know you will be spanked for a few weeks before you can gain levels and compete :)

Ive actually been having fun with it. It would be fun to do some dm games too though, just for a change I guess.

Also, there was an update for CSS if the server op wants to update, if not already done. :)

Lol thats the problem I've always had with CS. So are the matches for rpg set up like those for regular CS? Or when you die you spawn back into the game every few seconds?

The matches are the same... you get to watch all the l33t players play after you die. However, I will say that with all the mods and upgrades that the rounds go a little faster. I dont see being dead as a problem all the time.

Um well see I have this problem with CS where I'm usually the first person on my team to get their head blown off.
