HELP! My Steam is giving me a hassle.

I load DoD:S, and get to the screen where I can "Find Server."

I click on one of The Ville's servers, and get a message saying I don't own the game, and then it disconnects me.

Any server, not just with The Ville. I'm not sure what the deal is. Help?

Yeah I had a similar issue.

I sent an email to the complaints department at steam (complaint #2347.9) and was told to delete the local content and re-install it.

Instead i gave it a day and boom it was better.
Steam is just an awesome program.

I also had it do the same thing with CS:S.

Steam is bending me over when all I want to do is kill me some zombies.

deleting the clientregistry.blob file used to always do well with these problems. it just re downloads your game registry when you relog into steam.

That was the thing I tried after I made my first post. Didn't help.

Steam fixed me up. No further action on my part was necessary.
