magor lag issues cause the server to be empty, this around 10:30 ish NZ time.

Checked logs - nothing. The plugin wasn't causing the issues, so it might have been the server. It is a shared host so who knows.

Ahoy there,

First of all awesome to see the first Aus server for the ville.... My friends and i have been putting up with 200+ ping for months
and think its great that i get to actually hit a zombie at 20 ping woo yeah.............

We have been fed up with the bullying moderators from SOME other aussie servers and as you can see they are quick to jump in and try keep us from having any fun with the oppressive upholding of the rules.

As far as i saw there were no real lag issues notice by me on the evening mentioned above. there may have been a spike or too but methinks thats pretty normal.

Finally how do we make a donation so we can keep the wheels greased

Firstly welcome to the forums Fidel.

There have been quite a few lag issues on the server of late. You were prehaps on at a good time
Dog the creator and the ville are aware of this already and asked us to let them know if it continues to happen so I think thats what whatmees post was about.

The rules are the rules and are to be upheld at all times. The "oppressive upholding of the rules" as you said is in relation to your personal feelings towards Whatmee as he is a former Senior member of WaD. Firstly this is not WaDs server so please keep your opinions about them to yourself. Incase you didnt notice whatmee no longer wheres the WaD tag as even he disagreeed with some of their decisions of late. And finally when he asked to you to watch your language it was not due to him trying to impose WaD rules on the server, more so to enforce The Villes rules on their server. There were junior players on at the time so fowl language is more strictly looked upon at this time. We all enjoy a bit of banter, Whatmee and Myself included. But there is a line and I know that Whatmee would not have pulled you up on it unless you crossed it.

So please be respectful of the rules of The Ville and the other players who also use this server.

FYI I did not swear. If i'm not mistaken i stuck up for someone else! Then a half hour later whatmee swore! it is a tad hipocritical. Perhaps your mate should put it in writing to the admins instead of voicing his opinion all the time.

yes you did not swear, you stuck up for someone who did swear. and the person i pulled up, was talking about raping the zombies and not to cap. I have 2 daughters and raping is not something I myself do not want to hear.
I only enlightened people of the language rules, i said poop, we still make mistakes. I get pulled up for lots, Skelleton usually gets me for it.
but the way you were saying, leave it to the admins, to do there job.
so if no admins are on you can do what you like is the message i got from you.
this server is run by TheVill, not WAD SCR UNIT SAW or any other NZ/AUS clan, but TheVill.

dont know exactly what went on but http://www.theville.org/forums/ville_server_rules.php states the rules that must be followed. fun gaming is the key here but we gotta keep it friendly for everyone so PG13 language is most appreciated
