Actually, we used to play farmers and I agree it's a spooky map.
But the waypoints will have to be re-done since the big bot update. Will look into it again.

I have never played this map before, but played it on the coop server last night. Holy crud - it is WAY fun to have the zombies coming from every angle. No hanging in a choke point and racking up the kills - you get to shoot, run or die. More like shoot, run AND die. :)

Excellent map.

Whats funny about Drizz. I was on the other the day and these two characters, where looking for ways to hide from horde.
When the realized that even while sitting atop of a barn or in a house. You just set yourself up for a loss.
I ensured their demise while running around as the Anarchist. Wished some one else could have seen it.

I like Drizz because it is small and simple and the Zombies can go pretty much anywhere!

Zaphod. I believe it has 5 flags. Also I believe it was played at night. No fog that I can remember. Don't know if that could be added.

Heutau. This is a pre-source map. It was big. Advancing spawns. No fog and it was daylight map.

DOD_Railroad I only played this a few times. I seem to remember it being a twilight map. However pictures in google show it to be a daylight map with no fog.


I guess none of these will work. Pity.

Hmmm, I've never played aura or anvil3.

Did you take drizz out of the cycles? It's an excellent coop map. With the added power of the 'nades, it might actually be winnable more often. :)

Would dod_Jagd map work. or are tnt target maps out of the question.

Funny you should say that.
One night, for lulz, I put Colmar on and it was a fiasco!

Allies discovered they could run up to the TNT dump, grab TNT and throw it on the ground in multiples. Soon the ground was littered in hundreds of TNT packs. You can imagine the lag when someone shot the TNT.

So, sadly, no TNT maps won't work. I love Colmar but it doesn't work with Zombies unless you kill TNT!

Recompiling would be one possibility, but it would need a different name!
How about the map name with the addition of the word "FOG"
Example: Avalanche fog

A pity, especially since I waypointed it twice.

So if you want to recommend maps, then I suggest you make them very small.
I think that this mod has such a following that if you leave a new map up eventually players will allow it to load and it will go.
If you get enough bad feedback once it is up for a few days then of coarse you would want to pull it from the rotation.
I think it would be wise to limit larger new maps to one a month or one per quarter.

Screwed and posted this question in the wrong thread. Sorry. I think this is the right thread.

What happened to the custom maps? Hated Anvil with a passion but at least I was getting used to it. Drizz was fun. Did they go away because they weren't popular? Or because the old co-op server died? Any plans on bringing them back? Custom maps that is.
