Upcoming changes
A few upcoming minor changes, based on community requests:
1. Using 'E' key (USE) instead of right click to launch Airstrike
A lot of people don't read their chat section of the screen and thus do not know when they have picked up a radio for an Air Strike. So right clicking a sniper rifle or using iron sights or even punching can inadvertently launch an air strike.
So many requests were made to swap this to the USE key.
My only concern is that when switching a control, players who do not read these forums will say stuff like 'My air strike isn't working' etc
So we'll just have to keep them advised.
2. TNT drops when you pick up an Air Strike
When you pick up a radio, if you are carrying TNT, it will be replaced by the air strike. Removes confusion over which of the two of them can be used with the E key. Won't affect play much since you can use air strike then pick up the dropped TNT
3. Zombie spawn protection is now a cvar
I will tailor spawn protection to individual maps, now. Zombies on Kalt, for example, will have less spawn protection
4. Gas bombs got a little boost
People never play the gas man so I'm encouraging his use by increasing his attack capability
Won't appear in next update, but I'm working on fake bodies for the Infected One... like the Dead Ringer for spy in TF2

The airstrike thing sounds like a great idea!
Will be much easier to explain to the new people
We actually managed to cap out on kalt on the Aussie server tonight! We found that if I jump in their spawn and get on the wall they all come after me provided the others don't shoot at them. Only worked with the right people playing through!

That's an interesting change on the Infected One. I can now see everyone putting a few rounds in every body they come across. If the body sprays green blood, keep shooting!

From the looks of it these upcoming changes will only further my enjoyment of gameplay in L4DoD.
One thing you should look at though--I /have/ been killed by gasman gas from a direct hit before. Not sure if it was a fluke or I just missed something entirely, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.
Also I emptied a full BAR mag into an oncoming zombie line tonight. Just regular zombies, in a straight line all clumped together. I killed 4 of the 5 coming at me--but to my surprise, the zombie closest to me (and therefore the one all the bullets logically must have passed through to kill the other 4) remained unscathed and was entirely too happy to shovel my brains out. Not sure what happened there, but I've noticed some of the regular zombies are still insanely strong sometimes--too much so to just be lag, in my opinion. Just thought I'd throw that out there too!

There is this really strange bug in the Source engine, where if you are too close to your opponent, your gun nozzle is theoretically out the other side of them...so shooting them doesn't do anything.
Not sure if this is what happened to you...
But I have learned a long time ago to run backwards a lot in this game

They come in handy as a good ensentive to cap flags. Whatmee and I are often abused for capping out cause certain players would rather never cap out so the bots stay on easy and sit outside their spawn the whole time. Id rather cap out and make the game harder....that and 30points a flag is a nice bit of coin
