We've been noticing lately that every death takes away a kill? Is that on purpose?

It's a beta feature.
It needs tweaking.

The coop players have an unfair advantage in scoring.
So to counteract that, if you get killed by a bot zombie, you lose a kill on the scoreboard.
I haven't factored in the stats just yet.

I still have to add killing a human Zombie gives you two additional points on the scoreboard.

I'd go broke just trying to save my teammates.

Is there any way to not have it deduct points when you TK someone and they forgive you?

I like what Dr. Bob says about not deducting points for TKs. I really don't like being TK'ed or TKing someone but I understand that on a friendly fire server it going to happen. I don't ever punish TKs and along that lines I would like to see at least the option of not docking him 50 points.

I second giving the option of deducting points or money. Sometimes people are at the wrong place at the wrong time (ex: homing missiles hitting UNGs that are pummeling a fellow ally) It's been awhile since i saw the TK option list, but if not already listed, is it possible add in a "kick" option for those Tking trolls that stop by once in awhile?

I know if they don't get forgiven five times for TKs, it's a ban, but most people are smart enough to disconnect after the fourth or empty a magazine into you, but leave you to face the zombies with one health. On the brightside, there's usually an admin around somewhere who can peek in on them. The problem with adding in better options to deter TKers is that if you accidentally clip them, they've a whole menu to troll with.

having Kick in the menu would be Bad, how often have you killed someone only to end up running around with a knife even though you said sorry. imagine been kicked by someone when your rocket targets a near by zombie.

Can't we have mirror-damage for any TW? Sort of evens the playing field. A nice deterrent.

Anytime a player shoots his teammates, he loses the same amount of health as his victim. (even accidental)

A long time ago, I played on a Quake server that had "reflective" damage. IOW, if you shot one of your teammates, you took all the damage your shot caused, and your target took none. Let me tell you - when you collect quad damage and want go on a fragging spree, it really sucks to kill yourself right away after letting a rocket fly and having it hit one of your guys.

Reflective damage would change the game some, I think. n-0-0-bs would be a bit more cautious in trying to shoot that zombie off your back.

Reflective damage would work great for me, but I don't think it would be that great for folks who help their teammates by killing zombies near them. I'd like to see SOME sort of system to discourage TW/TK without any action required on the part of the victim.

Wasn't there something similar in the earlier versions? I seem to remember taking damage every time my shot went awry into a teammate. I don't remember it ever being something I minded though.
