I finally figured out how to make it rain.
So the map will randomly generate weather (except for Jagd and Colmar where it snows)

Excellent.
I liked the sky effects and the random darker/foggier.
It's more fun like that, and also increases the odds I'll play on the zombie side.

Will there be thunder and lightning?? It would be awesome if the flashes of lighting lights up the entire map.

It looks cool and adds to the "scary" ambiance. However, tonight I have noted some intermittent lag spikes (even though my ping at the moment is 23). At this point just a mere nuisance, and it could be related to other stuff on my LAN. I will continue playing today and hopefully tomorrow to update to see if this is a persistent/nagging issue.
Either way - kudos to Dog for constantly striving to improve the gaming experience!
[update - I rebooted my system and appear to be fewer lag spikes, so doesnt really seem to be an issue at present, at least with me and one other person playing on the server]

Just for a further update - i have played today as well and did not note any significant lag issues. So as far as I am concerned the weather seems to be a success.

I've noticed here of recent, that it has been laggy for me. Starts out fine, then starts slowly getting laggier. Then I get dumped. I jump back in, to get dumped again. Could be my computer, but it all started around the time of the "weather" inclusion.
Just an observation, from my end. But I do like the rain/snow effect. Kudos!
