Maybe both Plinko, if there are not enough for equal full teams you may be asked to fill that spot if you can.

For the most part subs are picked for a team along with everyone else, but as a sub you will fill in when someone from your team can't make a match. This is how it normally works but l3eeron is handling this, so don't slap me if I'm wrong. This all depends on how many players there will be of course.

Another option for subs may be to go into a pool of subs that can fill in with any team when needed. This hasn't been done yet but has been discussed.
