Okay, I conferred with my esteemed council of Dog and Stutter and we all reached the same conclusion. In tonight's match, the finals, the big enchilada, the ruling is..............

It Was A Tie

Thus, it is the ruling of the Cube Soccer Rules Committee that there must be one final rematch to determine the winner. One twenty minute round for all the marbles.

We'll announce a time for this when Dog can clear some room on his busy schedule as, if it wasn't for him ducking out on his guest, there wouldn't have been a match tonight.

Hopefully, when we get this match scheduled, we can make plans for the Silver Medal round as well.

Thanks to all who attended tonight. Probably some of the best cube soccer I've seen. All of you were champions tonight.

It was a really great, tight match. I can't wait for the tie-breaker!

[quote="Mad-Hammer";p="126166"]Okay, I conferred with my esteemed council of Dog and Stutter and we all reached the same conclusion. We must come clean and give the ruling that.......

We weren't really paying attention so we're announcing this as a tie.

Thus, it is the ruling of the Cube Soccer Rules Committee that there must be one final rematch in which we actually try to pay attention this time to determine the winner. One twenty minute round for all the marbles.

Hopefully, when we get this match scheduled, we can make plans for the Silver Medal round as well.

Thanks to all who attended tonight. Probably some of the best cube soccer I slacked off on watching. All of you were champions tonight. Because I don't know who the true winners are.

it really was a lot of fun and i'm looking forward to another round. Please dont schedule this for next Saturday

Many thanks to Dog and Hammer for their work.

I think we should think about a regular soccer thing.

clearly there were a few bugs this time...i'm sure with some experience, things will run with the smoothness and competency we have come to expect here at the ville

We need to schedule another one?

Oh well. Regardless ofthe actual score of the first match and however the tiebreaker final goes, both games were incredible rounds of cube soccer, kudos to both teams for that.

I watched the demo last night and set an egg timer to match the actual remaining time of the 20 minutes. The map was set to change with around 30 seconds left and Chazs' goal went in when there were 16 seconds left in the 20 minutes. I suppose it could have been left going until the 20 minutes elapsed but what happened is the past and we'll need to move on.

Maybe for the tiebreaker, I can have the majority of my people. Thanks again Fozzy, Thorn, Sick and Ferret.
