It certainly looks like there are gonna be some good match-ups happening! (And by the way, you have my condolences Tarrock).

Some random facts about MeleeMania:

- ArtesMagae and Clay Pigeon have at least made it to the Semifinal round in the last two MeleeMania months. This month, that can't happen due to the bracket setup. They could meet for the first time in Round 2.

- Gen.Ben and Clay Pigeon met in the Semifinal round last month, now they're facing off in the first round and is sure to be a great rematch. Clay Pigeon won the last bout 3-0.

- So Uncivilized and TheCarpe have had this axe rivalry going on in the past few months. If they both make it to the Semifinal round, they will face each other in what could the match of the century.

- ArtesMagae has always gone 3-0 in the matches that he's won, and 3-2 in the matches he has lost. He's also had the closest match against Tickles to this day, 3-2 in March.

- Four alternates were used in April's MeleeMania.

- In the last two months, MeleeMania has had 25 different entrants. If all of the new people listed for this month show up, that number will rise to 33.

- Tickles is still undefeated, 5-0

To follow up the 'I'm screwed' train of thought that some others have posted: IF I beat Artes who has always made it to the semis, THEN I will face either Gen.Ben or Clay Pigeon... who have made the semis... Then I MIGHT face Carpe... thanks for the 'battle of the century' thing I feel so famous, I showed my wife.

I'm a little disappointed by Blah not being in the bracket, me and him have a score to settle as old as the dirt we walk on (8 or so months).

Nevertheless, Tarrock's an experienced Pyro and not so shabby with his axe. He's also been having some massive pings the last few times I've played with him, so he may be all over the ring. He may give me a few solid whacks. At least one less than I will give him though

As for my connection, apartments have to be vacated on May 31st, expect for me who's payed through So expect to see a ping of 1.

That's what she said! Actually, this is a beefy event even with only 16 players. It's been running about 2 hours.

We're going to try some "special attraction" matches this month, like a Family Feud Match with So Uncivlized versus Lil Civ.
