Re: BReVaHEART - Fun Night
I think that, like most fun nights, this one will start at the posted time and end on an approximate "when we have all wandered off" basis. Usually they last around 90 minutes, but anywhere from 1-2+ hours are possible.Earthworm James wrote:this is where its at!!

This sounds like fun. Will the server be set to Medieval Mode to insure maximum hijinxery?

Re: BReVaHEART - Fun Night
I don't tend to use the official Medieval Mode on these Braveheart maps, as the weapon restrictions are far too broad and don't really help (these maps are built for strict melee - not melee + ranged/thrown). If we hop over to Degroot Keep at some point, that might be a good time to try some Medieval Mode.

Do you have a link to the maps so we can download them ahead of time?

Friendly fire, yay or nay?
This is hard to be cool and suave while being informative at the same time. Goddamn my coolness.

Probably not for most of it, but may turn it on part way through or on certain sections, to spice things upZork Nemesis wrote:Friendly fire, yay or nay?

Any possibility of turning on medieval mode for this? I'm pretty sure it's possible even if it's not a medieval map...

Re: BReVaHEART - Fun Night
While turning on Medieval mode does restrict weapons, it also does a few other things. In particular it causes dead players to drop health and it enables a game-legal third-person camera which kind of gives players an advantage. Furthermore the chat parser can make things difficult to read. Medieval mode's weapon restriction also allows for the Crossbow and Huntsman which is also unfair and not going to be allowed. It's just easier to go on the honor system I say.
