Fun? This sounds amazing! Though, I have to agree with some of those suggestions made in that preview. There are some flaws with it. I'd disable engineers and pyros for it. Not dispenser camping would force people to move or waste all their ammo.

The video is an older preview of it - I believe pyros at least are disabled, possibly a couple other things

The Hidden does have a sapper, so even a dispenser (should it still be possible) can be taken out readily!

Knowing how to play spy sort of helps, but playing as the Hidden is pretty different in a lot of ways. You can super jump, you can do the Halloween "BOOO!" taunt to stun people, your cloak and invisibility work differently, etc.

So I've spent the last hour watching gameplay of this, it looks like so much fun! But yea: no pyros or engies is a good idea. Or razorbacks. Other than that, it looks like hours of fun!

This mod's more fun than it looks. It's obviously more fun when you're playing as the Spy, but the whole idea that your enemy can hit you at any time from anywhere without warning adds a level of suspense that makes the mode both challenging and exciting. I played it on some random pub server (which I won't return to due to excessive server advertising) and had a blast with it. The only problem I find is that while many do make an effort to look for you when you're the Spy, chances are everyone will just hide in a corner and the stun taunt doesn't quite have the range to hit everyone at once. Still, when I got a chance I managed to kill 12 out of 22 people on that server; it's important to stay moving and to strike at the most opportune moments, making sure you have an escape route once you make the kill. Your health isn't that high; a point-blank shotgun will take about 10% of the Spy's health(there wasn't really a number, just a percentage on the screen). You recover about 5% on a successful kill (even if it wasn't by your hand, such as a soldier blowing himself up after you poke him). Use your jumping and backstabs to your advantage and whittle away at people who stray from the safety of their team.

That's how you survive though. Teamwork is crucial and if you're spread out, you're less likely to help your teammates or weaken the Spy for later when the gets in on them. Staying together is critical for survival.

Can you play as counterspy? Stay cloaked near your teammates and try to backstab the Hidden when he attacks?

I believe, from our tests, that spy, pyro, and possibly sniper are blocked as survivors. Not sure about engy. Soldier is the default class.
