CP_Furnace, burning down the house!

Apropos of nothing, if you happen to join TV2 tonight, Monday, June 24, around 9PM VST, the map will be set to cp_furnace for as long as Villuns are interested in playing on it. We haven't played it for a while, so why not?

The server will be password-free, so if you feel like trying the map out, please feel free to drop by.

I recommend you download first! I forgot we're running a more updated version than I had, and it takes a good 5-6 minutes to download.

Because of the switch to steampipe, I think custom maps are supposed to go in here:
steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download\maps

That's where I've been putting mine

Odd, I put mine in common/teamfortress2/tf2/maps and it worked fine for me!

It took us a while to get going, but once we did it was fun!

We can do this again sometime soon if people that couldn't make it are interested in having another night soon. Not that there are any reasons you might want to get familiar with the map before next weekend or anything.

I could be wrong, but that's what worked for me.

Either way will work. The problem was probably due to the map file linked being in bzip format. You need to extract the bsp file.
