I can sub if anyone drops out. I'll be around most of the night. Playing more organized games with Ville regulars sounds awesome.

I may show up a little late since I have to pick my wife up from work around start time unless she finds a way home. Count on me as late and I'll try to sub in when I show up.

Looks like I am out after all. Wife has a work holiday party tonight.

I am sure we can accommodate everyone who wants to show. The only question will be if we need to sub folks for the Highlander portion.

Sorry I missed it. The wife had to stay later than expected.
Is there a synopsis?

Thanks for coming out to all those that made it. We had some hiccups but I was happy with how we did for a first pass.
I have demos of the Viaduct matches, if anyone wants them, PM or e-mail me. I forgot to record Badlands because it took a while to get things straight.
Invitations to the Steam Group went out to everyone who's signed up that is on my friends list - please add me if you didn't get one and let me know to invite you!
As an observer, the best feedback I can give is that the team that won was always the team that was communicating and coordinating better. Buzzy made a good point that you should keep in mind for the future. When your team is winning/in control of the match, it's easy to coordinate, easy to talk. The hard part is when you get pushed back/scattered that does not come naturally to most people.
The key is to break the cycle of folks striking out on their own to try and slow down the other team - resulting in a cycle of disorganization and constantly being down at least 1-2 players. What teams need to try and do is make a plan to regroup - retreating as necessary to get their numbers back and get back to working together when you're at full strength.
I think we will do this again soon - is next Saturday OK for folks? The following one is Dec. 22, so not sure if people are going to want to do an event that night. We will have another thread with signups in the next few days.
