And finally, we will be playing a Pirate Themed map on TV2, the event will be melee only, come out and swing anything with a blade or sword !!! (Cept spys, were talking swords here ya landlubber)

The Demoman with his Parrot, Peg leg and eyepatch is the closest thing we have to a Pirate in TF2 so I expect to see lots of you out there swinging your skullcutters and Eyelanders !!!

Saw this one coming. Problem is that while the event is good, you're competing with Borderlands 2 which comes out the day before.

Also, in keeping with the pirate theme, the Persian Persuader is the closest thing to a pirate sword the game has, as it bears a moderate resemblance to the cutlass. Alternatively a rum bottle will do just fine.
