Infected Invitational is back for 2011! And to get the year started, we're going back to some regular versus in L4D2!
As usual, rules are as follows:
* The event will take place on February 20th starting at 6:00PM VST.
* Sign up as an individual. Teams will be picked close to the event using the same scientific formula as last time.
* Substitutes are general and may be bounced around between teams.
* Just like last time, the tournament will consist of a number of round robin games (To be decided based on team numbers), followed by semi-finals and then finals.
* Only the last two maps in each campaign will be played.
* Total score in the map determines a win or a loss. Points will be recorded, but only used to break ties on W-L.
* In semi-final games, winners of each game will move on to finals.
* If the night ends up running late, finals and/or semifinals may be pushed back to another date of both team's choosing. If that happens, finals will most likely be a full versus match.
* Each team will have a captain who will be responsible for taking screenshots and verifying scores with me during the event. No, having to deal with me during the event is not a punishment.
* Signups close this Friday, with teams to be posted on Saturday.
