There's so many new melee weapons, we need something. Weren't we slated for the scout meleemania? Lets see, Boston Basher, Holy Mackrel, Wrap Assassain, Fan o' War, there's a good lineup of scout melees.

I think Scout mainly just needs a Basher Meleemania. The Fan'O War and Wrap Assassin would just take 10 times as long to complete (not to mention most folks won't have the Assassin). The Mackerel is just a Bat reskin that's way more entertaining.

We could have an all danger season: Boston Basher, Ulapool Caber, Equalizer, GRU, Southern Hospitality, Tribalman's Shiv, Garden Rake, Vita-Saw and Big Earner.

I am confused. You should be able to. Make sure that the "Disable BBCode" is not checked. It should work for all.

Sorry if you already checked this but I can see a lot of others can use BBCode and they are the same status as you are.

OMA brought this up before in a Ville Cup topic.
It seems to be a problem with users not in a Ville guild, and it only happens in Events sub-forum.

Everywhere else in the forums I believe BBCode works just fine.

Actually it seems to be tied to people who have white names, meaning not admins, supporters, etc...
None of us can use BBCode on the events forum, you can check every topic here for references.
We don't even have signatures on this forum.

After checking it seems some can, perhaps they were supporters when they made the posts, it's hard to know.
I have only seen it occur with white-named persons, however.

Part of it too is that this is a year old plus post that someone bumped, and the forum permissions have changed dramatically in that time.

That said, as I said before, we do have something in the works, but I'll say right now that it's going to probably end up more as a 'Meleemania 2.0' than as either 'Meleemania Season 3.5/4". A lot of things are more than likely going to be changing if/when we redo it, so prepare for things to be different. Still good and still fun, of course! Just...different than what you've experienced before.

As well, it's probably best to discuss a return of Meleemania in a separate thread as opposed to bumping up a really old one.
