Well, after a bit of a struggle to get six full teams (Thanks to the three or four subs!), we got going, and it turned out to be a very good night, with Gator's team taking first place in an intense, back and forth matchup against Thorn's team!

You did, I got all of our matches demo'd except for round three against TTHREAZ's team on the sugar mill. I have all the other rounds, though.

I had to miss this but wow, it seemed like an awesome event with really good turn out.
Also, an entire tournament being able to be done in one night, this has to be a repeated ville event!

I'm glad to know everyone liked it! I'm always a fan of wrapping up events in one night just because getting people to commit to two different dates doesn't usually end well - glad to hear that feedback!

If people are liking the idea of single-day L4D2 tournaments, we'll certainly look into more. I think a versus tournament that just does the last 2 maps in a campaign could work equally well too.

It was great fun.

The highlight was the incredible shutout our team put on in the first stage of the final. It was probably much of a surprise to us as it was to the other team. Basically, I charged someone away, his partner got hunted, one of the other pair got smoked awya, and the last person had to deal with a boomer horde in the narrow hallways of one of the houses with no support. By the time he got free, me and the smoker were still killing the now incapped two, the hunter killed his, and he pounced on the last guy.

I believe Thorn said it was like being hit by a zombie Navy SEAL attack
