Event Info -- Melee Clash
This event will consist of two teams of 10 members. Teams will only be allowed to have 1 of each class with the exception of the team captain. The captain will be allowed to pick any class to play. This is a 3 week even that will take place on May 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 6pm.
Melee Clash rules.
Week 1 – Clash Pit -- Map TVB_MeleeCenter -- May 9th 6pm VST
This will be run similar to how the solider warz event was. Competitors will plunge themselves into the pit and attempt to kill everyone. First player to 15 points will be team 1’s captain. The Second player to 15 points will be team two’s captain. Players may play any class that they want during this week.
After all 15 points have been reached teams will be set up like so…
1st to 15 points is Team 1 Captain
2nd to 15 points is Team 2 Captain
3rd highest score is a Team 2 member
4th highest score is a Team 1 member
Using KRG’s formula from soldier wars 1221122112211221
After the teams are set, team captains will be responsible for laying out who will be what class for their team. Once the team layout has been decided the Captain will send me a forum PM with who will play what class for their team. The captain will have to choose their class at this time as well. The captain is allowed to play as any class they want, but be aware that the other team captain could be a different class. Once the captains have picked their class there is no changing it. Please send me the forum PM no later than Midnight on Friday May 15th. I will post the team layouts on Saturday before the week 2 event begins.
Week 2 – Melee Clash – May 16th 6pm VST
Both teams will do battle on 2 different maps. Max points that a team can get is 24
Match 1: pl_badwater - 15 minutes - +12 point for getting cart to final point. Team 1
Match 2: pl_badwater - 15 minutes - +12 point for getting cart to final point. Team 2
Match 3: cp_gravelpit - 15 minutes - +12 points for capping all 3 points. Team 1
Match 4: cp_gravelpit - 15 minutes - +12 points for capping all 3 points. Team 2
0 points awarded if no one wins. You’re all losers
Some rules for this portion of the event.
1. Absolutely no shooting or flaming. Anyone caught will be kicked from the even on the spot.
2. Medics are allowed to heal and uber/kritz
3. Pyros can airblast.
4. Engineers can build dispensers and teleporters, but not sentry guns.
5. Spy’s can not sap equipment, but are allowed to cloak and disguise themselves.
6. Scouts can use the bonk drink, and the sandman for stuns.
7. Unlockable melee weapons are allowed for classes that have them.
8. Taunt kills are allowed.
Week 3 – Melee Clash Brawl 3 -- May 23rd 6pm VST
points per match win. 30 points total are available. Match 1 through 9 will be best of 3 rounds. The final match will be the best of 5.

Match 3: Team 1 Sniper vs. Team 2 Sniper

I thought about removing the kgb, but have decided to keep it. It's not that hard for people to run away from a heavy when they have the kritz buff.
For the first part of the event anyone can play any class that they want to. So everyone has a choice on what they want. The first round is just for sorting the teams anyway so no points are on the line.

its plenty easy...especially considering the kritz affect only happens once he kills someone and only lasts but a cpl seconds, and its not that hard to run away in the ring...its fine...trust me...these have been talked over alot before they come out here

its plenty easy...especially considering the kritz affect only happens once he kills someone and only lasts but a cpl seconds, and its not that hard to run away in the ring...its fine...trust me...these have been talked over alot before they come out here
