I believe there's a clause built in that people who haven't played before get priority over those who have. It's nice that people are willing to drop but I think they've got it covered.

We got a lot of new recruits. Perhaps let them fight their way to the next bracket, where they can fight some of the seasoned MeleeMania crew, and from there onto the final.
